Hi! I'm

LIZE SWARTZ

I am a(n)

Scientific researcher studying urban water and heat governance, in particular how urban residents understand and respond to changes in water availability and the climate.

Academic blogging specialist focusing on editing academic blog articles and training scientific researchers to communicate their research more accessibly through blogging.

Academic editor specialising in helping improve academic texts to maximise their reach and social impact through clear argumentation and grammatical consistency.

I offer

Academic Blogging Training

Communicating your research in an accessible, understandable and interesting manner is an essential part of engaged and responsible research. I'm currently offering one-day academic blogging workshops to small groups. You'll learn what academic blogging is, why academics blog, what a good blog article looks like, and how to get started.

Academic Editing

Your research is more likely to be read and mobilized when it is written in a clear, convincing, and compelling way. I have been working with scholars and students to ensure that their message is crystal clear. I specialize in editing texts written by non-native English speakers.
